The beautiful lake Kamalasagar
is situated 27 km away from agartala. The lake of Kamalasagar was
excavated by Maharaja Kalyan Manikya. There is a popular “Kali Temple” of
16th century on the edge of the lake.
At present
the beautiful lake is just on the border of India and
Bangladesh, creating a wonderful scenic beauty, which attracts
a number of people from inside and outside the state.
